Good Updates! Good Updates! Good Updates! Good Updates!

1) Jennifer was discharged today! A day early!

2) Jennifer and I got to go to Monroe and she got to hold the baby for the first time! She is doing much better now (emotionally for sure) and is glad to be home.

3) He has a name (Besides, Baby-X, the X-ster, etc)… it is Caden Charles Breeding!

4) Photos are on-line! I don’t have the ones of Mom and Caden yet, I promise to get he uploaded soon! The ones on-line are at:

5) Details! Many have ask for details and with Jen so sick with her BP before hand, and Caden on his way to Monroe and no internet access at the hospital there was no good way to do it. 🙂

He was 5 lbs, 4 oz, and 18 1/4 inches long. He was born on June 6, 2007 at 9:40 pm. He has a little hair and is as cute as me. 🙂

Jennifer was 37 weeks and a day, so he was about 3 weeks early. I’ll tell the story in a later e-mail of the events of the day, they are more humorous now looking back, but too long to tell right now.

For those out-of-towners, Monroe is about 30 minutes away from where we live, but it is all interstate, so we make good time.

Most of the grandparents are here, Jen’s parents and my mom, my dad is going to wait until thing calm down, but he lives the closest.

Thanks for all the prayers, they are working and we hope to bring Caden home very soon (no ETA yet though).

Feel free to send any more questions, and I’ll respond to them as I have time, which should be a little more now that I’m home.

He is HERE!

If you haven’t heard by now, Baby-X is HERE (and still nameless), long story, Jen is doing well, he is doing better, he is now in a NICU in Monroe where they specialize in any potential problems he might have…

I promise to get some pictures on-line when things calm down. Jen had a C-section so she is pretty tired, we are asking for visits to be held until we get home, thanks guys, and thanks for the prayers…

My mom and I just got back from Monroe and he is doing really well and the Doc was real positive about his condition…

I’ll be in touch soon!

Late May Update

Well… we are 5 weeks out, or a month and a week, as I like to say (sounds further away). Yes, I know Baby-X COULD come early (thanks for pointing that out Shelli!)

So as you might have guessed, still no name, although I have at least glanced at the book of names now (Jennifer made her list a few months ago, and e-mailed it to me, no, really, I mean it, she e-mailed it to me? Guess she thought I would look at it, nope! Can’t contaminate my brain.

Back to the names, thanks for all the suggestions that were made, but Trey (which I’m told isn’t really a name), Andrew, “Bo” and/or “Luke” (Duke?), Clint, Clint Alan (even if it is a girl), have all been considered. Will they be on the final list? We’ll see, but I wouldn’t hold your breath, ha! 🙂

So once my list is made, we’ll compare and go from there…

The Room… we may not have a name, but the room is almost done, wanna see some updated photos? If so, go to this link: http://www.nealbreeding.com/photos/broom/

Jennifer is doing well, her BP is up a little and she has a little swelling, but she has been trying to take it easy as much as possible. Guess I’ll be mowing the grass tomorrow (just kidding, I don’t make her do that).

Finally, if you want to reply to this message, just hit the reply button and it will now go to Jennifer and me.

Have a great week!

April Update

It has been a little over a month since the last update (see I promised not to bombard you with lots of e-mails! Jennifer had an appointment yesterday and everything is looking good. She is now on a 2 weeks schedule (going to the Doc every 2 weeks, instead of every three).

Still no name, well ok, that isn’t really true, we do have a name… wanna hear it? Baby-X! ha! (Thanks a lot Chad). Yes it will probably be when he gets here that we decide on a name… gotta have a little suspense, huh?

Jennifer said to me last Thursday night, “You know we only have 10 weeks left?” My reply was, “Shut Up! (followed by laughter). We have too much stuff to do before X gets here!” Of course that was last Thursday, so now that I think about it, that makes us at 9 weeks now?? Better get busy on that room!

Speaking of which… it is a Dr. Seuss theme and you can see the status of it on-line at: http://www.nealbreeding.com/photos/broom/

We are making good progress on it and hope to have more pictures up soon.

God Bless!

Neal, Jennifer, Emma (dog), and Baby-X
